Shickshinny Childrens Library
Join us for our next Storytime Yoga session on February 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM! This unique event combines storytelling with yoga, making it a fun and engaging experience for children. Led by Ashley Holmes, the last session was a hit, with kids enjoying the story as it flowed seamlessly into yoga poses. If you're interested in joining us, please contact the library to let us know!

We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to the Northwest Area Girls Junior Varsity Field Hockey Team for joining us for storytime! Their reading of "There Was an Old Woman Who Swallowed Leaves," accompanied by a delightful puppet show, truly brought the story to life It was a wonderful experience filled with laughter and creativity A special shoutout to Shelley Parnell making this memorable event possible.
The Shickshinny Flt Children's Library is a result of a $20,000 grant from the Central Susquehanna Community Giving Program. With this money we were able to fully outfit the library with all that was needed. We can never thank the Community giving program enough. (2022)
We would also like to thank the Central Susquehanna Community Giving Program for awarding us a grant for $7200.00. It gave us the ability to install a ductless heat and air system in the library, Thank you!!!! (2023)
