A note from the director...
Hello!
The library has been opened almost 2 years already! ...and we keep growing every day. We have 151 members, over 8000 books and are updating our book list constantly. I am so thankful that this little library has been accepted by the residents of Shickshinny and surrounding areas. It warms my heart to see the children come in and decide which books to take out and which one to save for next time.
We have instituted a Storytime and they are well attended. For the winter we will be holding them once a month (weather permitting)
We have a contest every month for the readers to participate in and win cool gifts....the kids love it!
As we continue into our second year , I am looking at only good things happening. ..If you are utilizing the library...THANK YOU! If you haven't had the chance, please stop in...you will wonder what took you so long!

The Shickshinny Flt Children's Library is a result of a $20,000 grant from the Central Susquehanna Community Giving Program. With this money we were able to fully outfit the library with all that was needed. We can never thank the Community giving program enough.
