The Brandywine building  is a replica of the original,  still standing in New Columbus Boro. It is apx 1/2 in deep with photos above showing the height and width. It is a wonderful reproduction of the original building. These buildings are hand made. Insprired by educational reform, New Columbus  Academy was built in 1855 for an estimated $5000 with early enrollment hosting 50 students. The building served as a school until 1952 and educated 1500 students during its active time.
